There is lots to see and do around Oshawa in the city. Take a tour of the city's shoreline, either from land or by boat. You can visit a museums, lots of parks and waterfront greenspace, and activities and sports to keep anybody busy (and happy). We even have a page that has tips on hundreds of things to do with kids.

There's lots to do, if you want to get out of town. there is lots to do nearby. You can explore the recreational trails in the region, including the Lake Ontario trail, and if you want to go boating, there are the Kawartha Lakes around Peterborough & Lindsay and the Trent-Severn Waterway connecting Lake Huron & Lake Simcoe with Lake Ontario at Trenton.

There are many accommodation options in the area, from first class hotels, to motels, beds & breakfast, long-term accommodation, wilderness lodges and camping.
