Fishing
There are lots of good places to go fishing around Oshawa-Durhams, including on Lake Simcoe (especially for ice fishing!), on crystal clear Georgian Bay, and on the many lakes of the Muskokas.

Running, Track & Field

Close to Barrie are several great cross-country ski venues. When there’s snow on the ground, try any of the larger city and provincial parks.
