City of Oshawa has a population: 150,200 and lies on the shore of Lake Ontario, about 60 km east of downtown Toronto. Commuting is easy using GO Transit's B Train or via highways 401 and 407. Recreation Oshawa has a nine-kilometre portion of the Waterfront Trail with the scenic Lakeview Park and the Second Marsh, which is the largest remaining coastal wetland in the Greater Toronto Area. There are lots of sporting facilities, bicycle & walking trails, and the city is home to the Oshawa Generals Junior A hockey team. .
