Throughout the year, over 100 different festivals and annual events are put on by various local groups. There's no better way to enjoy yourself than to take in a festival.

Highlands of Durham Games

Plenty of great musical entertainment, Celtic livestock demonstrations and displays, and highland and folk dancing competitions. Tickets are $20.00 each for Friday Night Concert. $15 each per day at the gate for Sat and Sun. Children 18 and under are admitted free. 1-888-253-5552

Family Fall Fair

end Sept

Go to the Uxbridge Historical Centre from 1 to 4pm. Children receive passports to several interactive events t celebrar the traditions and activities of the fall season (rope-making, the Farm Chores Challenge, Pioneer craft making, pumpkin painting…) Dress for the outdoors. Free parking. $3 per child, $7 limit per family. 905-852-5854
